She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Terence McBride; her stepchildren, Scott B. McBride (Heather), John J. McBride (Mary) and Laura Parkinson (Mason); her brothers, Edward Joseph Purdy (Carol) and Richard John Purdy; and her nieces and nephews, Purdy Eaton (Josh), Suzanne C. Purdy (Boris Vuchic) and Joanne C. Purdy (Carlos Mendez).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial (530 High Mountain Rd, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament (787 Franklin Lake Rd, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417). A graveside service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the Christ the King Cemetery (980 Huron Rd, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to the HMH – John Theurer Cancer Center at the Hackensack University Medical Center.
