It is with sadness that the passing of Elizabeth Goodman of Franklin Park, New Jersey is shared. Elizabeth, born on May 28, 1937 in Duryea, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Szymanski and Elizabeth Szymanski (Collier); her sister Catherine Demis (Keltz); her brother-in-law Arnold Vogel; and her sister Mary Ellen Szymanski.
She is survived by: her daughter Jill; her son-in-law Wesley Morris Jr.; her nieces and nephews, Walter Gary, Barbara Vogel, David, Pat Vogel, Patricia Foti, Paul Maxcy and Nicola Foti Sr.; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Heather Vogel-Moorer, Nicola Foti Jr., Ken Navarro, David and Kara Foti. She is also survived by many cousins, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the M. J. Murphy Funeral Home (616 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine of Canterbury Church (45 Henderson Rd, Kendall Park, NJ 08824). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Peter's Cemetery (500 Somerset St, New Brunswick, NJ 08901).
