He was predeceased by: his parents, Marino E. Reffi and Joyce C. Reffi (Thompson); his brother Eugene Reffi; and his nephew Robert E. Drew. He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Scanniello (Joseph) and Kayla Ramage (Brandon); his siblings, Christine Drew (Wally), Leeann Detaranto and Jim Reffi (Kathleen); and his grandsons, Vincent, Lucas Scanniello and Bennett Ramage.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home (1 Main St, Franklin, NJ 07416). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 8:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org).
