She is survived by: her son Joseph Rojek; her parents, Michael Rojek and Patricia Rojek; her siblings, Chrissy Slack (Brent), Andrew Rojek, Daniel Rojek (Carolyn) and Jennifer Rojek (Anthony Nicosia); and her siblings' children, Hayley Slack and Thomas Slack.

“I have known Michele as a colleague for 20 years, but she was more than that to me. She was also a supportive friend and often times co-partner in our similar consulting careers. We would laugh, share stories and even meet up in Morristown for dinner and a comedy show. I will truly miss her in so many ways. My deepest sympathies go out to her beloved and so cherished son Joey and to her family. Joey - you were her greatest achievement in life, and she loved you more than anything.”
