He is survived by: his wife Judith Phillips (Sisco); his sons, James, Joseph and Daniel Phillips (Ashley); his grandchildren, Hannah Coleman (James), Lillian, Hailey, William Phillips, John Collier, Bentley, James Jr., Nicholas, Erin and Nora Phillips; his great grandchild Claire Maxim; and his cousin Paul Sykes (Susan).
