It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernard I. Weinstein (Freehold, New Jersey), who passed away on November 8, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Bernard departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Bernard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Bernard leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Weinstein and Leah Goldstein Weinstein; and his siblings, Adolph Weinstein and Judith Weinstein Schwartz. He is survived by: his children, Amy Ann Weinstein (Steve Cooper), Andrew J. Weinstein and Abby R. Peklo; and his grandchildren, Lee Greenwald and Zeke Peklo. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephew.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hebrew Burial Society Cemetery (164 NJ-33, Freehold, NJ 07728).
