We announce the death of Christa Cathleen Johnson of Freehold, New Jersey, born in Neptune, New Jersey, who passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 73. Christa will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her daughter Leah Bologna. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ian Allia (Victoria), Zakk and Cheyenne; her great grandchild Dorian; and her siblings, John H. Curley, Jr. and Joan Wright.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Higgins Memorial (20 Center St, Freehold, NJ 07728). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
