He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sr. Ham and Lillian B. Ham (Bryant); his siblings, Marion (Katherine), Leona, Wilma, Sally Anne and Lillie; his daughter Donna Jean; his granddaughter Donna Jeffara; and his close friend LuAlice Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Johanna Strauss; his children, Joan Drewry (Kip) and John Ham (Rusty); his stepson Kevin Davis; his grandchildren, Kimberly Langert, Jeremy Drewry, Willie Demar Lynn (Cita), David Rashun Lynn, Ron Joseph Ham and Johanna Chenoah Ham; and his godchildren, Torna Brown-Bell, Nicole Bohannon and Walter David Greason. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Bethel A. M. E. Church - Freehold (3 Waterworks Rd, Freehold, NJ 07728). A masonic service will be held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Princeton Memorial Park (403 Gordon Rd, Robbinsville Twp, NJ 08691).
