He was predeceased by: his parents, Purdy Miller and Alice Miller; his wife Estelle Sylvia Miller; and his children-in-law, Jim and Jodi.

He is survived by: his children, Donald (Mary), Mary Julia (Doug), Paul (Lisa), Christopher and Joel (Jennifer); his foster son Dien; his grandchildren, Jimmy, Lauren, Joey (Masha), Sarah (Nick), Justin (Shannon), Mackenzie, Julia, Garrett and Griffin; his great grandchildren, Leo, Sophia, James, Joey, Jessica, Noah, Shea and Travis; and his brother Dr. Peter Miller (Gabrielle). He is also survived by spouses or significant others, seven grandchildren and an equal number of grand dogs.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Higgins Memorial (20 Center St, Freehold, NJ 07728). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (16 Mc Lean St, Freehold, NJ 07728).
