We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2025, Edna Wasson (Freehold, New Jersey), born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wasson and Martha Wasson; her brother Kenneth Wasson; and her son Thomas Mohamad. She is survived by: her daughters, Alice Giarratano (Paul) and Nancy Cook (Louis); her grandchildren, Diane Gray (Ryan), Michael Giarratano (Flora), Kristine Janczewski (John), Nicole Levine (Peter) and Noelle Alexander (Benny); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Sienna, Vincent, Vivienne, Charlotte, Ava, Jake and Aaliyah; and her siblings, Raymond Wasson, Charlie Wasson, Johnny Wasson and Dorothy Barry.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home (100 Elton-Adelphia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Co-Cathedral (61 Georgia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Canarsie Cemetery (1370 Remsen Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11236).
