He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Theodore (Ida Worm Curven) and S. Navy; his former wife Patricia Balser Curven; his son Keith Edward Curven; his stepson Rob Cress; and his siblings, Phyllis McKenzie, Wayne and Bobby Curven.
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his daughters, Terri Nash and Brenda Loetscher; his stepdaughter Janine Johns; and his sister Treecie May. He is also survived by three children, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
