He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Houston and Thomas Houston; his wife Alice Regina Houston; and his sister Agnes "Senga". He is survived by: his children, Michele Surdez (Paul) of Colts Neck, Ali Montello of Manalapan and Christopher Houston (Sara) of Myrtle Beach; and his grandchildren, Madalyn, Caitlin Montello, Colton, Jake Houston, Will, Sam and Molly Surdez.
