She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis Tkacs; and her son Richard Murphy, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Dennis Murphy (Lisa) of New Egypt; her sister Marie Ryder of Mesa, AZ; her niece Sharon Ryder-Platts of Mesa, AZ; her nephew Steven Ryder of Mesa, AZ; her grandchildren, John Murphy (Michele) of Richmond, VA, Allison Murphy (Babek Chizari) of St. Petersburg, FL, Cindy O'Donnell (Eddie) and Mariae Kovsky (Robert) of Cream Ridge; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Nova, Leila, Ava, Eric and Isabelle.
Janice loved going to Atlantic City and trying her luck on the slots which was actually more like donating.
