She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfonso Murcia and Mercedes Murcia; and her brothers, Alfonso Murcia, Jr. and William Murcia. She is survived by: her husband Enrique Quiroga; her children, Rick Quiroga (Carol), Diana Stephenson, Patty Gillette (Gregory) and Johanna Skvarenina (Michael); her grandchildren, Kristen, Allison Stephenson, Amanda, William Gillette, Olivia and Juliette Skvarenina; and her sister Gladys Galvis (Carlos). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home (344 US-9, Manalapan Township, NJ 07726). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery (299 Freehold-Englishtown Rd, Freehold, NJ 07728).
