We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Michael Scott Staples of Freehold, New Jersey, born in Neptune, New Jersey. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Michael is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Michael's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his father Thomas David Staples. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Staples; his children, Lucas Staples (Emily Shroyer) and Lindsay Shea (James Shea); his mother Rose Staples; and his brother Thomas Staples (Laura). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Higgins Memorial (20 Center St, Freehold, NJ 07728).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4374, 50 Waterworks Road, Freehold, NJ 07728 would be appreciated.
