We announce the death of Regis Joseph Forrest of Freehold, New Jersey, born in Bennington, Vermont, who passed away on August 22, 2026. Regis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Norris. He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Lori Forrest (Robert Leahy) of Freehold and David Forrest (Drucilla) of Stafford, VA; his grandchildren, Dean, Dawn and Dylan; his brother-in-law Jay Lehn; and his nieces and nephews, Julie, Brent, Joanna, Rikki and Jarod. He is also survived by ten great nieces and nephews; and five great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home (100 Elton-Adelphia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the C. Doyle Nj Veterans Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
