He is survived by: his wife Barbara Orr Patterson; his children, Barbara O'Connell (R. Stephen) of Watchung and John Patterson of Eatontown; his brother Stephen (Judith) of Eatontown; and his sister-in-law Carol Orr of Sarasota, Florida. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
