It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Uta McQuade (Freehold, New Jersey), born in Berlin, New Jersey, who passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsa Schnelle and Heinz Weber; and her grandparents, Emma and Franz Schnelle. She is survived by: her cousin Gisela Spilger; her daughter Gabi; her grandchildren, Frederick, Vincent, Jonas and Jurgen Herter (Jutta); her close friend William Turkus; her children, Jerry McQuade Jr. (Anila), Kiana, Emma and Todd McQuade; her grandchildren, Kyran, Gavin, Braedon, Ziva, Brodie and Hunter; her daughter Tara McQuade (Isaac Martin); her grandchild Kiara Martin-McQuade; her stepdaughter Dara Lupowitz (Jeff); her stepgrandson David; her brother Jochen Schnelle; her nephew Daniel; and her nieces, Denise and Melanie (Yoko Goodman). She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
