He is survived by: his wife Barbara Penyak; his children, William Palleria (Tracy) of Palmer Township, PA, Brett Palleria, Robert Palleria (Michelle) of Salem, VA, Lisa Penyak of Easton, PA and Kalyn Palleria of Holland Township, NJ; his siblings, Andrew Penyak (Lee) of Elizabethtown, KY, Michael Penyak of Easton, PA, James Penyak (Catherine) of Delray Beach, FL, Timothy Penyak of Phillipsburg, NJ, Richard Penyak of Easton, PA and Sue Penyak of Easton, PA; and his grandchildren, Madison, Matthew and Jacob.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Frenchtown Presbyterian Church, 22 4th Street, Frenchtown, NJ 08825 or to Breakthrough T1D, Formerly JDRF, PO Box 5042, Hagerstown, MD 21741 for juvenile diabetes research.
