We announce the death of John Robert Middlesworth (Galloway, New Jersey), born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 77. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Agnes Irene Middlesworth (McElhenny). He is survived by: his father Charles Mark Middlesworth; his siblings, Charles "Sandy" Middlesworth, Karin Ewan (Bob), Richard Middlesworth (Eunice) and William Middlesworth (Natalie); his sister-in-law Dani Middlesworth; his nieces and nephews, Brady, Alex, Kate, Julia, Jack, Sydney, Mackenzie, Andrew Middlesworth, Jesse and Shannon Ewan; and his wife Lucille Ace.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Funeral Directors (211 E Great Creek Rd, Galloway, NJ 08205). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Bob's memory to either the American Lung Association (lung.org) or to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey (cfbnj.org) where Bob volunteered numerous times.
