She was predeceased by : her parents, Blazej Kalata and Stefania Kalata (Gryglak); her husband Jozef Budz; and her grandsons, Paul and Dawid.

She is survived by : her children, Frances (Blazej), Jozef (Maria), Maria (Stanislaw Flach), Tadeusz (Ewa), Edward (Ewa) and Ryszard (Marta); and her grandchildren, Michelle (Diego Garcia), Justin, Eric, Stephanie, Laura Budz, Agnes (Ryan Kaiser), Anna (Feng-Yang Shin), Barbara (Robert Mastej), Marek (Joanne Budz), Chris (Iza Soltys), Mike (Jane) and John (Sara). She is also survived by great grandchildren.
