We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2024, at the age of 57, Ellen M. Nelson of Garfield, New Jersey, born in Passaic, New Jersey passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ellen M. Nelson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Nelson and Julia Nelson; her siblings, Debra Wells, Stephen, James and Joseph Nelson; and her brothers-in-law, Dennis Wells and Leo Ciriaco.

She is survived by : her niece Stephanie Nelson; her son Shawn Smiley (Jessica) of Garfield; her granddaughter Samiya Smiley; and her sisters, Henrietta Kleist (Rodney) of Clements, MD and Marian Nelson of North Arlington.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home (515 Lexington Ave, Clifton, NJ 07011). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
