She is survived by: her niece Stephanie Nelson; her son Shawn Smiley (Jessica) of Garfield; her granddaughter Samiya Smiley; and her sisters, Henrietta Kleist (Rodney) of Clements, MD and Marian Nelson of North Arlington.
