Francesca Ranieri Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Francesca Ranieri of Garfield, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Contino Ranieri; her son Tino Ranieri; her brothers, Vincenzo Carisi and Giovanni Carisi; and her cousin Enzo Carisi.

She is survived by: her aunt Vittoria; her children, Anna Maria, Contino (Tino) and Anthony; her great grandchild Nonnina; her sister Velia Mazzaferro (Remigio Mazzaferro); her sister-in-law Lynn Maschucci; her niece Anna Maria Ranieri (John Marciante Jr.); her great-nephew Anthony Ranieri (Claudine Ranieri); her daughter-in-law Cynthia Ranieri; her grandchildren, John Marciante (Elizabeth Mills), Mia Marciante (Brad Kittrell), Tommy Marciante (Amanda), Zachary Ranieri, Amanda Ranieri, Gabby Ranieri, Isabella Ranieri and Sofia Ranieri; and her great grandchildren, Liana Marciante and Esme Mills-Marciante.

Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Colonial Home (13-31 Saddle River Rd, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Catharine Church (905 Maple Ave, Glen Rock, NJ 07452). A burial was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at the St. Mary's Cemetery (224 Westminster Pl, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663).
