He was predeceased by : his parents, Giuseppe and Giuseppa; and his brothers, Pietro and Carmelo. He is survived by : his daughter Janelle Storesund (Eirik); his siblings, Ciro Barcia (Paulette) and Francesca Busciglio (Enzo); and his sisters-in-law, Rosa and Piera Barcia. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews and 18 great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family will accept donations for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
