With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Lissy of Garfield, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary left this world on February 20, 2026 at the age of 102, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As Mary departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mary leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her husband Michael; and her sister Anna Vaskanin. She is survived by: her daughter Maryann Shilanski (Gerald); her granddaughters, Alyssa and Michele; her niece Mary Hawroniak; Sylvie. She is also survived by many other great nieces, great nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Mary's name to SS Peter and Paul RO Church, Passaic.
