She was predeceased by: her husband James Vitale; her sisters, Giuseppa Allegra (Paolo), Concetta La Barbera, Carmela Mantegna and Giovanna Vitamia; and her nephew Michele Allegra.

She is survived by: her sister Teresa Megna; and her nieces and nephews, Davide, Angela (Salvatore), Emilia (Eric), Therese, Francesco (Carmela) and Salvatore (Barbara).

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Aloia Funeral Home (180 Harrison Ave, Garfield, NJ 07026). A Mass was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church (188 MacArthur Ave, Garfield, NJ 07026).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Rosalia's memory.
