We announce the death of Rose Weedo of Garfield, New Jersey, who passed away on June 4, 2026, at the age of 97. Rose will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph; and her siblings, James Schalabba, Anthony Schalabba, Richard Scialabba, Anna Raineri, Josephine Nunnari, Mary DeRosa, Jennie Mistretta and Angie Mistretta.
She is survived by: her sons, John Weedo (Melissa) and Joseph Weedo (Tami); her grandchildren, Brian Weedo, Melissa Weedo, Gina Weedo and Angela DeMarco; her great grandchildren, Anthony, Brandon and Vincent; her sister Concetta "Ada" Crisafi; and her daughter-in-law Belinda Weedo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or you can plant a tree in her memory.
