It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Therese Goess of Gibbstown, New Jersey, who passed away on December 10, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Tobias Goess, III. She is survived by: her children, Craig Goess (Cathy) of Greenville, Scott Goess (Dolores) of Hickory, NC and Elizabeth G. Mitchell of Greenville; her grandchildren, Kristen Goess, Craig Goess, Jr., Adam Goess, Staci Hyndman, Zachary Goess, Erica Cary, Daniel Cary, Kaila Coutis and Thomas Hyndman; and her great grandchildren, Ella, Carter and Kennedy.

Due to Covid-19, a private family service will be held; however, the service will be streamed live on our website http://www.wilkersonfuneralhome.com on Wednesday, December 16th, at 3:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 30280, Greenville, NC 27833 or St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, 3250 Dickinson Ave., Greenville, NC 27834.
