He was predeceased by: his sister Carolyn Hershey; Russell Jr.. He is survived by: his sisters, Muriel Leone (Russell) and Yvonne Laurusonis; his niece Amy Zengo (Alex); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Abbott and Ainsley; his niece Janel Catalano (Joseph); his great-niece Natalie; his great-nephew Joe; his nephew Russell Leone (April); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Billy, Jeweleanna and Joey; his nephew Todd Laurusonis; and his niece Shelby Laurusonis. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of John Cameli to Appel Farm Arts Camp Scholarship Fund, a non-profit inclusive youth arts organization providing financial assistance to summer art campers who would not otherwise have the resources to attend.
