He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia White, (Felter) and Jerome Putman White, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Kiyoko White (Tuo); and his sister Cynthia Hichens (Martin). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
