He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Sanchez (Ruis) and Leonidas Sanchez; and his son John Phillip Rouis. He is survived by: his wife Lucy A. Rouis (Quinatoa); his daughter Katina (Michael Byram); his daughter-in-law Elvila Andre-Rouis; and his grandchildren, Sabrina Andre-Rouis and Khole Byram.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shrine of St. Joseph.
