He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sydney Dorn and Florence Matilda Dorn; and his wife MaryAnn Dorn. He is survived by: his siblings, Edward, William and Diane; his sons, Art (Francine) and David; and his grandchildren, Nathaniel and Audrey.

In lieu of flowers, his family has requested that those who seek to recognize Art's life send memorial donations to Richwood United Methodist Church, PO Box 7, Richwood, NJ 08074.
