He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Doughty; his children, Brian and Jaclyn (Rob); his sister Rita (Bill); and his grandchildren, Brian, Brielle, Robert, Ryder, Raegan and Ridge. He is also survived by his extended family and dear friends.

His legacy for Claytonites was the little house across from the football field, Joe’s field of dreams.
