He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Lorenzi (Cattafi); his wife Edith Joan (Oland); and his sister Rachel Giorgi. He is survived by: his children, Debra Phillips (Nicholas), JoAnn Caswell (Clint) and James Viola (Karen); his grandchildren, Christina Caswell-Pedone (Jarrod), James Viola (Alison), Andrew Viola (Megan) and Nicholas Phillips; his great grandchildren, Leonardo, Cora, Michael and Oliver; his sisters, Vera Corradetti and Angelina Rowson; his nephew Joseph; his niece Diane Rowson; and his cousin Joe Cattafi.
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bridget University Parish (125 Church St, Glassboro, NJ 08028).
