Tara Pfunke Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tara Pfunke of Glen Gardner, New Jersey, born in Oceanport, New Jersey, who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Tara's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Tara has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her sons, William and Patrick Pfunke; her parents, Cornelia Saradarian and Glenn D. McGuill; and her sister Shannon McGuill. She is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William J. Leber Funeral Home (15 Furnace Rd, Chester, NJ 07930). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Luke Parish (265 W Mill Rd, Long Valley, NJ 07853). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hilltop Cemetery (18 Hilltop Rd, Mendham Borough, NJ 07945).
