He was predeceased by: his sisters, Margaret Dunigan (Peggy) and Grace Ann Swab; and his parents, Harry O'Boyle and Margaret Mary O'Boyle. He is survived by: his wife Mary B. O'Boyle; his daughters, Margaret Mary Norton (Joseph G.) and Mariah Kathleen O'Boyle; his grandchildren, Mary Condon (Shane), Kelly A., Joseph G. and Anne E. Norton; his siblings, Kathleen O'Boyle (Robert O'Donnell), Maureen McAlea (Thomas), Marykay O'Rourke (late Vincent), Martin O'Boyle (Business), Judy and Rosemary LePore (Patrick); and his siblings-in-law, James McKenna (late Dorothy), Kathleen McKenna, Regina Hennon (Sean Hennon) and Deirdre McKenna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Boyle Funeral Home (309 Broad St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003).
