Robert John Kurz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2025, at the age of 86, Robert John Kurz of Glen Rock, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kurz and Mary Kurz; and his wife Frances "Frannie" Trondle Kurz. He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Frances Steele (Kristopher), Elizabeth "Bepper" Berry (Christopher) and James Walter Kurz; his grandchildren, Lucas, Emma, Henry Steele and Dexter Berry; and his pet Yogi. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Colonial Home (13-31 Saddle River Rd, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catharine RC Church (905 Maple Ave, Glen Rock, NJ 07452).
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the "Frannie and Bob Kurz Scholarship Program" which awards financial assistance to Glen Rock High School athletes who share admirable characteristics similar to those of Frannie and Bob. Donations can be made through the Glen Rock Athletic Club.
