He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick McCarthy and Mary Bridget McCarthy; his brothers, Patrick, George and Paul; and his wife Erma Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Rosemary Erma and Bryan (Owen); and his grandchildren, Liam and Maeve Erma (Victor). He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
