Clara Louise Yerkes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Louise Yerkes of Gloucester City, New Jersey, who passed away on September 3, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Z. Yerkes; and her siblings, Doris Bradway and Paul Lynch. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Wortmann (Charles), Lawrence Carter II (Sharon) and Thomas Carter (Linda Laun); her brother Dennis Lynch; and her sibling's children, Paula Conroy, Michele Carfagno and Greg Biddle. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.

Family requests contributions be made to Saint Jude's Hospital, in lieu of flowers.
