Concetta Benham Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Concetta Benham (Gloucester City, New Jersey), who passed away on May 4, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Concetta may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Concetta touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Howard W. Benham, Jr.; and her parents, Joseph Marena and Dorothy Marena. She is survived by: her children, Derek Benham (Janice) and Lisa Peters; and her grandchildren, Bryce Benham, Hailey Peters, Shaun and Luke Maloney.
Viewing was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the McCann-Healey Funeral Home (851 Monmouth St, Gloucester City, NJ 08030). A Mass was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Annunciation Church (601 W Browning Rd, Bellmawr, NJ 08031). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the New St. Mary's Cemetery (515 W Browning Rd, Bellmawr, NJ 08031).
