He is survived by: his wife Roberta Gaines; his children, Edna Molina (Angel), Willa Mae Booker, Melody Matthews (Larry), Lillian Harrison, Sheila Watkins (Harold), Edward "Lil Lefty" Gaines, Michael Gaines (Monique), Warren "Butchie" Gaines (Martha) and Eric Gaines; and his brother Michael Gaines of Virginia. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 30 plus great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.
