He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barrett and Catherine Barrett (Valentine); his wife Rose Barrett (Crusco); and his son John J. Barrett, Jr.. He is survived by: his son Michael Barrett (Andrea Pallies); his grandson Edward Barrett; and his sister Patricia Barrett.
