She was predeceased by: her parents, James and Bertha (Marsh) of Georgia. She is survived by: her sons, John of Nekoosa, Martin (Janet) of Monmouth Beach and Jeffrey (Clare) of Green Brook; her grandchildren, Emma Fox (John) of Christchurch, Molly and Liam of Green Brook; her great grandchild Joshua Fox; and her siblings, Gladys and Jimmy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Higgins Home For Funerals (752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ 07069). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Stony Hill Church (225 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ 07069). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the St. Mary's Stony Hill Cemetery (225 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ 07069).
In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Florence's lifelong volunteerism, the family requests that donations be made to the Watchung Arts Center, Watchung, NJ or the Center for Great Expectations of Somerset, NJ.
