He was predeceased by: his parents, Wellington L. Hill and Maude Ansback Hill; and his son Vincent D. Hill. He is survived by: his wife Marie Potts Hill of Bridgewater; his children, Tracy L. Hill of Bedminster and Peter D. Hill of Washington; and his daughter-in-law Leatrice Hewitt of Chester. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
