She was predeceased by: her parents, Alcedo Martinez and Maria Rodriguez; and her half-siblings, Elio and Ramona. She is survived by: her husband Francisco Checo; her children, Ana Maria, Josefina, Yudith and Luis; her siblings, Nelson, Teresa, Lourdes, Dulce and Susana; her grandchildren, Fausto, Anabel, Valerie and Ryan; and her great grandchild Amaia.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gleason Funeral Home (1360 Hamilton St, Somerset, NJ 08873). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Saint Peter's Cemetery (500 Somerset St, New Brunswick, NJ 08901).
