He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley "Steve" Syrek and Mary Syrek; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Syrek and Steven Syrek; his daughters-in-law, Cathy and Samantha; his siblings, Arlene Faustini and Richard Syrek; his sister-in-law Maryann Syrek; his nephew Joseph Faustini; his niece Dina Faustini; and his great-nephews, Ryan Kurschner and Dean Kurschner. He is also survived by extended family and close friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home (397 Union St, Hackensack, NJ 07601). The military honors was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
