He was predeceased by: his parents, Renda Gregg and Walter Sr. Gregg; his uncle Elliott; his aunt Hattie Nettles (Sisi); his brothers, Walter Gregg Jr., John Gregg, Furman Gregg and Archie Gregg; and his brothers-in-law, Lester Barr Sr. and Jesse James Ross Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Gregg of Hackensack; his children, Rodney Gregg (Elizabeth) of Rockaway and Shannon McClenny (Joe) of Latta; his sisters, Janie Mae Ross of Englewood, Renetta Barr of East Haven and Vivian Patterson (Willie) of Teaneck; his sister-in-law Helen Gregg of Englewood; and his grandsons, Justis and Jorell Gregg of Rockaway. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
