John Stephen Quirke Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Stephen Quirke of Hackensack, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia P. Quirke and John Stephen Quirke. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Quirke; his son John Quirke; his granddaughters, Alyssa and Theresa Lau; his children, Christine Cheesman (Michael), Brian Quirke (Melanie) and Elizabeth "Betsy" Miller (Charles); his grandchildren, Kristen Bowden (Matthew), Caitlyn Miller, Jonathan "Jack" Miller and Carolina Quirke; his siblings, Elizabeth DeMarco and Kevin Quirke (Cathe); his brother-in-law John Clynick (Mary Ann); and his sisters, Virginia Dubatowka, Mary Rose Conklyn and Geraldine Goodleaf. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, their spouses and children.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the S. J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service (60 N Beverwyck Rd, Lake Hiawatha, NJ 07034). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter the Apostle Parish (179 Baldwin Rd, Parsippany, NJ 07054).
