He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph Daley and Margaret Ann Daley; his wife Wanda Daley; his siblings, Evelyn Kirnon, Irod Daley, Winston Daley and Benjamin Daley; his mother-in-law Dorothy Haskett; and his sister-in-law Winifred Brent.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Daley and Devorah Daley; his grandson Wynton Daley; and his brother Nimrod Daley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His contributions were recognized through fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the MacDowell Colony, Music Omi, and the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation. He received commissions from organizations including the Tri-Centric Foundation and Dance Clarinet Ensemble through Brooklyn Council on the Arts.
