He is survived by: his wife Maria Julia Pinto (Carneiro); his children, Avelino Pinto, Rosie Rivera and Angela Martinez; his grandchildren, Tiago Pinto, Christina Martinez, Amelie Pinto and Leandro Martinez; and his brothers, Domingos and Fernando Pinto.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shaw–buyus Home. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 9:45 AM at the Queen of Peace Church (10 Franklin Pl, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
